Our story began not in a city showroom, but by the lakes of Shanxiahu, Zhejiang — one of the world’s key freshwater pearl regions.

Since 1988, our founder Mr. Mark has worked directly with local pearl-farming families, mastering every step of cultivation from mussel seeding to harvest and grading. Over the decades, this lakeside craft has grown into a professional pearl workshop and a 2,000 m² showroom holding over 11,000 pounds of carefully selected pearls.

Mark&Zin is the second generation's way of bringing this heritage of craftsmanship and authenticity directly to you.

From Farms & Workshops to Your Hands

For years, we worked behind the scenes — selecting pearls at the source, crafting jewelry, and supplying wholesalers and retail brands worldwide. But as pearls passed through layer after layer of middlemen, prices grew far beyond their true value.

Mark&Zin was created to change that.

By sharing our own inventory and craftsmanship through our official website, and by working closely with long-term partner farms and our in-house team, we connect the source directly to you. This reduces unnecessary middlemen and brings pearls back to a fair, honest price.

Every piece begins in our workshop with loose pearls that are sorted and matched by hand. We work with both classic rounds and expressive baroque shapes, pairing them with modern, minimal metalwork.
